We need to help our children develop good physical activity habits at an early age by setting a good example ourselves, and this means limiting television, movies, videos and computer games to less than two hours a day and substituting the rest of their leisure time with outdoor child activities.

A fantastic solution for outdoor child activities is to provide a selection of outdoor games and play equipment in your own back garden that kids can use and invite playmates over to play.

Physical inactivity is a major risk factor for cardiovascular disease, and most modern children  would rather watch television. Childhood obesity is one of our nation’s leading health threats, and the obesity epidemic is clearly taking its toll, as more and more kids are developing conditions and diseases typically associated with adults.

The goal of Junglegym World is to stop the increase in childhood obesity by taking innovative steps to help  children live longer and healthier lives, and our jungle gyms are having a positive impact on child activities that  make a difference to a child’s health.
