| Established on 1 April 1997 by André Ferreira, Jungle Gym World grew from a small playground manufacturing company with five personnel members, to a well-known company that provides a livelihood for 22 families and adheres to all Government prescripts and requirements. Initially the company only manufactured steel jungle gyms together with small educational toys.
The company now has the largest variety of jungle gyms, as well as other fantasy and adventure play structures in South Africa.
Jungle Gym World is the official supplier of play structures to all the Smiley Kids Association pre-schools. It supplies 40 African self-help schools in Soweto and exports its products to the SADC countries. Social responsibilities are a high priority and Jungle Gym World annually sponsors previously disadvantaged communities with our products.
